The UK today is depressingly cold, wet and windy. All kinds of horrible and not weather you want to step outside in AT ALL.
Why bother then I hear you cry?! Exactly. No need and here are a few things to keep you occupied whist indoors.
1. WATCH STUFF
Whether its something on Netflix, a boxset of your own, trashy TV or stuff you have recorded but not got round to watching yet. Put on your onesie/PJs, curl up under a duvet and enjoy!
I love baking and when its cold cooking up a storm in the kitchen is quite comforting. Cakes and a hearty roast are my favourites.
3. MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE
I am not talking about low calorie mix with water stuff, I am talking the hard stuff. Hot milk, whipped cream and mini marshmallows. Yummy yummy.
Get under that duvet again with a classic or your favourite chick lit. Wallow in the fiction and fantasy preferably with the hot chocolate above!
Your blog, diary, journal, lists, thank you notes whatever. Put pen to paper or finger to laptop and get writing. Its therapeutic.
Exercise is the last thing you want to do when its cold. So whack on your CDs, iTunes, Spotify etc and dance around to your favourite songs. Exercise and fun at the same time.
7. DO NOTHING
Yep. Just do nothing. That list of things can be done tomorrow. Lifes too short to sweat the small stuff. Cuddle your pet, partner or loved one. Just be.
